The St. Florian Holy Name Society is having a COOKOUT on Saturday, May 30, 2026, From 5 pm to

7 pm in the St. Florian Gym.
Tickets go on sale beginning April 12, 2026 and run through May 16, 2026.They may be purchased after each mass at Christ Our Light Parish (St. Florian) or the Rectory during open hours.

The price is $10.00/ticket, 130 tickets will be sold. You must have a ticket to enter. Price includes the following
menu:
              ▪ Hamburger
              ▪ Bratwurst
              ▪ Sauerkraut
              ▪ Potato Salad
              ▪ Coleslaw
              ▪ Drink
              ▪ Dessert

Price also includes entry for a $100 raffle. With all the WONDERFUL bakers at our Parish, we are asking for donations of baked goods. You can bring your baked goods to the GYM beginning at 1:00 pm., Saturday, May 30th. It is time to get together as a Parish.

Dear Parishioners:

Many parishioners have asked, what is the Holy Name Society all about? We are an organization of Men, ages 18 and older, that come together and meet once per month. During the meetings, we discuss how we can help the Parish Community and the community at large. Everything we do is under the banner of the Holy Name of Jesus.

So far this year, with the funds we have raised from the monthly raffle and Pasta Dinner, we have donated and helped the following organizations:

• Society of St. Vincent de Paul: $1,150.00
• Christmas donation to our Parish: $200.00
• Toys for Tots: $50.00
• Scapular for First Communicants: $24.90

We do appreciate your participation in our fundraisers. We made $786.00 profit for the Pasta Dinner, and we thank you. The St. Florian Holy Name Society is open to new members. Dues are only $5.00 for the whole year.

Muchos feligreses se han preguntado, ¿de qué trata la Sociedad del Santo Nombre? Somos una organización de hombres, de 18 años o más, que se reúnen y se reúnen una vez al mes. Durante las reuniones, discutimos cómo podemos ayudar a la comunidad parroquial y a la comunidad en general. Todo lo que hacemos es bajo la bandera del Santo Nombre de Jesús.

Hasta ahora este año, con los fondos que hemos recaudado de la rifa mensual y la cena de pasta, hemos donado y ayudado a las siguientes organizaciones:

Búsqueda de huevos de Pascua

The Guadalupanas of Christ Our Light Parish are hosting an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 5th after 11:30am Mass. The event will take place in the garden space at the corner of 132nd and Houston Avenue. All children are welcome.
Las Guadalupanas de Cristo Nuestra Luz organizaran una búsqueda de huevos de Pascua el Domingo 5 de Abril después de la Misa de las 11:30 de la mañana. El evento tendrá lugar en el espacio del jardín en la esquina de la 132 y Houston Avenue. Todos los niños son bienvenidos.
